We are not high caliber enough to buy the car ;^D I think he means we ask too many questions and are too informed to be taken advantage of.

    from the BAT comments:
" I decided to list my car on BaT after deciding that the crowd on other websites are not the high caliber people I want to sell my car to."

Don't forget to add commission. I think it's 5% but I forget what I paid back when I bought Phoenix Yellow.

There's something odd on this engine compartment, the bracket next to the orange airbag connector, my car doesn't have that bracket, did a Google search and don't see any other M3 with that bracket, I know that regular E30 has it, it holds the engine relays.
Can someone look at their car and report back please

You're right, the M3 doesn't have that bracket. Good eye.

New Front clip from a regular E30? That may explain the "painted" vin tags

The only time I have ever seen this bracket on an M3 is when I purchased an almost bare shell to assemble. Since it was a shell and a large project anyway I dismissed that extra bracket initially in photos (and also based upon what the owner had told me) but when the shell arrived it was only the start of what had happened. Long story short the car had been cut in half at the floors and the front was a 325 and the rear was an M3.........Whoever did it did a pretty decent job covering it up , but you can only cover something like that up so much. I sent that shell back to the person who I bought it from since I did not want a car that had been "halfed" together and it was never advertised as such. This was in the mid 2000s and the shell was Zinno red........That being said, the bracket being on this car seems like a definitive clue that something has happened tto the front end.
