It was a red (whichever one wasn't henna) '88 in Cupertino, CA. Claimed 160k miles and "very original," though in the images the cruise control and windshield washer tank had been eliminated. Suspension was coilovers with camber plates. Valve cover black but with added M stripe, looked clean under the hood. Spare was a steelie instead of a basketweave. So-so photos of the front 3/4 from a distance and engine bay and spare wheel well, no photos of interior, rear, or details.

Seller asked for 'serious buyers only' but when I contacted for basic information (motor rebuilt? rust? paint original? what does the back look like...?) I didn't get a response. Price was 40k the first day, then 39.5, then 38.5, and eventually $38k before it was deleted. I was disappointed, because at that trend it would have been free by November!

It seems a lot interested buyers within the past couple years lost interest for the "Driver" cars and the prices seem to have plateau

It's the same with the 930 and 964 market. I think everyone is taking a breather. Price will increase again with the affect of inflation.
