Lovely car, good luck with the sale. Bet you will be sad once it has gone. Way out of my price range but still I would say good value for what it is.

        2001 BMW M3
        VIN: WBSAK0313MAE34430
        fuel: gas
        odometer: 96000
        title status: clean
        transmission: manual
With mixed emotions I have decided to list my M3. I have owned this car since 2006 and have always had a passion for e30's. I anticipated keeping this car for a lifetime but with 2 little kids my priorities have changed. Prior to listing on BAT I wanted to see if there is local interest.

I purchased this car from the second owner who put little miles on it keeping her covered in his garage. It has a clean Carfax and title. All vin tags intact.

After rebuilding my savings the car was taken to VSR in 2008 for a comprehensive review. Mario and team noted some body and mechanical work that needed to be addressed. During my initial visit a valve adjustment and leak down test were performed. The engine was strong with compression ranging from 205-215 (88,862). Knowing the engine was in good order VSR tackled the necessary body work in March of 2009 (90,199). The windshield was replaced with a factory unit and a genuine EVO front spoiler was added. This is one of the few modifications the car has from stock.

Between May of 2008 and March of 2009 all mechanical work recommended by VSR was completed. This work included (approximately 89,000).

        Guibo replacement
        Center bearing replaced
Exhaust manifold gasket with stud and nut replacement
        Transmission Output Shaft Seal
        Transmission Shift Shaft Seal
        AC compressor bushings
        Muffler Hanger
        Factory EVO2 Lower Air Box
        Power Steering Hoses
        Front Sway Bar Links

Prior to my visit with VSR at 87,000 the below items were changed

        Factory Plug Wires
        Spark Plugs
        Valve Cover Gasket
        Oil Pan Gaskets
Bilstein HD fronts (to match the rears the prior owner had installed)
        Tail Light Gaskets
        Redline in Gearbox and Differential
        Brake Fluid
        Front tie rods

        Fast forward to 10/31/2009 91,175
        Oil Change
        Coolant Change

        Spring 2011 92,400

        Right Factory Aluminum Control Arm
        External Fuel Pump
        Fuel Filter
        Injectors Sent Out For Cleaning
        Rubber Fuel Lines
        Front Pads and Rotors
        Brake Fluid
        Front Sway Bar Mounts

        11/12/2012 93,876
        Oil Change

        5/25/2013 94,250
        Factory EVO Flywheel

        11/25/2014 94,751
        Oil Change
        Oil Filter Housing Gasket
        Oil Pressure Relief Kit Seal

        8/29/17 95,655
        Oil Change
        Coolant Flush
        Brake Fluid

The M now has slightly under 96,000.

In 2013 a brand new factory set of e28 16" basket weaves were ordered and added to the car. I purchased 5 incase one was damaged. The 5th sits as a spare in the trunk. The wheels and tires are still like new covering less than 2000 miles. The stock set of 15's will be included with the car (in need of refinishing).

The drivers seat bolsters are slightly warn. I sourced a good used replacement set from the UK that will match the rest of the near mint interior perfectly. I have not installed these but they can be included with the car.

Everything works, the car doesn't leak anything, and all maintenance has been done to bring this car up to date. Eventually it will need an exhaust as the original factory one has seen few small repairs.

2 keys and all books and really cool floor mats that say M3 POWER are included. I believe these mats are factory but have never seen another pair like them.

Please feel free to call with any questions. If pictures are not posted they will be soon.

Thanks Jake. Best of luck with yours as well. I haven't been making much progress on CL so it will be going on BAT shortly. Will post the link when it starts.

Here is an updated CL link with additional underside pics.

Very nice DS. Is the paint original? Any rust at all? Are the replacement gray bolsters you have original or aftermarket?

                  Thank you.

when I purchased the car I brought it to VSR for a full rundown. They addressed a few areas, window cowling and some rust that had formed under the rear trunk seal. Not sure how that got there, maybe some water trapped somehow. They painted the bumpers which I was told wore their original vin tags. At that time the evo lip was added. I have all the records for those interested. Everything was done right and the cost reflected. Intending to keep this car for the long term no corners were cut during my ownership. Prior to me the passenger door had been repainted. I donít know why but it also has the VIN attached so assuming it was due to something minor. Car fax has no record of an incident.

there is no rust on the car.

The bolstere are oem and and match the clean patina of the rest of the interior perfectly. I picked them up from a guy in the UK off of r3v who had a stash of material he removed from parts cars. I was going to put them on but thought the new owner may chose to keep the interior 100% original. I wanted to leave their options open.
