    Well 3 years later, I'm entertaining the sale again.

    1988 BMW E30 M3 3.8L S38 - 380hp
    VIN: WBSAK030XJ2197638
    Mileage: 218,626 (engine and chassis has about 4k since I did all the work to it)

    95 mm 10.75:1 Custom Pistons
    Euro 90mm Stroke Crank - 142.5mm rods
    SuperTech 39mm Intake valves / 33mm Exhaust Valves with 5 Angle Valve Job, Viton valve seals
    264 degree intake and exhaust cams with adjustable sprockets
    Intake ports opened to 31mm
    Euro 3.8 50mm throttle body set
    Euro M88 exhaust manifolds w/ 2.5" secondaries
    Vi-Pec V88 EMS, Injector Dynamic 725cc injectors, 5 bar FPR, Full Sequential injection/ignition - Tuned by Apex Speed Technology
    Ground Control Suspension, 525#F & 750# R, AKG 80A Diff, 75D RTAB w/ camber & toe adjustable MZ3 trailing arms, custom engine mounts, AKG 80A rear subframe Mounts.
    MZ3 Finned Rear Diff cover.
    Factory E36 M3 Front brakes with euro floating rotors, ss brake lines
    Custom driveshaft
    Getrag 265 trans with Sachs E34 M5 6 Spring sport clutch and heavy duty pressure plate
    Custom SSK
    2.93 LSD
    Custom t304 stainless 3" exhaust
    Front and rear seats recovered in GAHH leather. No cracks on original dash. Original interior color was grey, previous owner switched to black at some point in time.
    Original vin stickers on all panels, hood, bumpers, fenders etc.

    Vehicle is NOT California C.A.R.B compliant...obviously

          Yes, asking $65.

          Sale does include the original S14, forgot to mention that. It is currently disassembled and boxed up. $55k w/ out S14.

                How is the tune, drive-ability, cold start, etc.? Beautiful car! Manual steering?

                  I have been driving with the current tune for what, 5 years now I think. As with any EMS setup, you can never stop improving it but drive-ability is great. No cold start issues. Yes, manual steering however power steering can easily be added (S38 specific parts included with sale) if you wish to do so. It's just been at the bottom of my to do list.

                  It really is hell of a lot fun to drive. I wouldn't hesitate driving across country with it.

                        Thanks Jimmy. I've been trying to hook up with Neel over the last 2 years or so for another round of tuning to really dial it in, but our schedules keep conflicting. It's already darn good but I know there some power left on the table. It was 110 degrees when we were last on the dyno and we had no knock detection.
