1973 BMW 2002
2.3L S14 w/ Getrag 265
Hennarot/Black
VIN: 1677921
The time has come to let go of my M2. The swap and restoration was done by the previous owner in California over a period of a few years and completed in the mid 2000s. Originally starting with a clean California chassis and an S14 on a pallet, the body was stripped to bear metal and the S14 was fully rebuilt. The car was finished in classic E30 M3 Hennarot with no evidence of original color. All panels were removed and body stripped to bear metal, the transmission tunnel was modified with metal to accommodate the Getrag 265 and all rust prone areas were treated with POR 15. I acquired the car and decided to take it to the next level along with CATuned and complete many overlooked items including the exterior turbo bits, interior, suspension, brakes, wheels, cooling system and many other cosmetic/maintenance items. I went through every system on the car to ensure that everything works and is functional. The car is a real head turner, extremely fun everywhere and dead reliable. This M2 comes with an additional set of refinished 13’’ e21 “Alpina” turbines with new tires, an unfinished IE fiberglass bumper, 3 keys (1 original), records and a clean California title with tags paid through August of 2020.
