It has a salvage title because it was declared a total loss by an insurance company back in the late 90's. Front end damage, driver's side front damage. The Carfax records also show odometer discrepancies as well because the odomter went from 150K -> 60K -> 160K. The seller stated that the black rear seat was put in to match the black aftermarket front seats.

To be fair, The owner said the car was totaled because these cars are undervalued by insurance companies and expensive to fix like you all know. The owner said everything was repaired fine, That said, the current owner bought the vehicle with the salvage title, and the Mix and match interior, so my guess is his information is not first hand, but I don't know that for sure.

Did the Tan / Silver Interiors come with a black dash like this car does?

a VIN number is provided and the moment anyone calls the first thing I have been stating is that it's a salvage title. I am definately not holding anything back and being as honest as possible with the sale of the car. The car is a gem and as most of everyone knows these cars are undervalued with insurance companies. The car still has ALL of it's original VIN stickers on every body panel EXCEPT the driver's side front fender (the point of impact) The seats are black as when the previous owner of the car put in the racing seats he wanted the back seats to match...hence the black leather....i believe I may have the black door panels to match inside my basement as he was planning on switching everything to black.

I have definately not held anything back in terms of information regarding the car and would not do that as I am a firm believer that karma is a bitch........rather be honest than make a couple bucks. The car is sitting in the garage right now doing nothing as I have already bought my new car...an e55 AMG....The car is a great car and if I didn't need a bigger car i would definately not be selling this. I take pride in all the cars that I own from my magazine appearing show car:



To my baby M3. My motivation for sellling this car is to get it into the hands of someone who can have just as much fun with it as I have had in my time owning it. The car is great and deserves a lot more justice than sitting in a garage rotting away.
