I miss my M3 and i regret selling it. Looking to buy an E30 M3 on the west coast. I'm in Vancouver BC canada. I'm not looking for a garage queen but I am looking something that has matching vins, some documentation. The more original and stock the better. Not interested in rebuilt, salvage or no title cars.
I do have for sale or trade for an M3 a real Nismo Skyline GTR. Its a 1991 R32 GTR Nismo Edition numbered 440 of 560. It's like the LTW or CSL edition in BMW terms. Basically, lighter suspension, lighter car, special oem body kit, stronger internals and turbos. The car is mostly stock and in unmolested condition. It has 101,000 KM on it. All original bodywork. New garrett turbos. Last time dyno'd it was putting about 380 at the wheels at around 1.3 bar of boost.
A little history lesson. The R32 GTR dominated touring car racing when it debut in 89. It caused quite the stir in the racing community. It destroyed E30 M3, 190E 16V and anything cosworth had to offer at that time. It eventually lead to teams having to resort to running full on DTM spec M3 and 190E against the close to stock GTR. Having no luck at beating godzilla, teams banded together to ban AWD in most touring car racing classes to stop the GTR from dominating.
With that being said. It's fast and wins races but it is still no E30 M3 in terms of driving dynamics and overall feel.
For those interested in the US. I don't know the rules you guys have about gray market imports. Some states allow them some don't. Please check to make sure yourself. I am more than willing to help with shipping otherwise.
