Fraud, Urgent Need Help !!!

Well Gang here's the Scoop with this Guy and My Transaction re 1989 M3. I sent him $1000 Cashiers check and Wired $6500 to his bank Last Friday, up until then communication was prompt... Since Friday night my Transport company and My self can't contact him Via Cell phone or emails, this sucks...I have already initiated a Mail / Internet Wire Fraud case through my Local Sheriff's Dept which in turn is contacting the Loudoun County, VA sheriff's dept open the case there as Fraudulent Transaction.

Does the Moderator of this forum has any contact info from this Guy ?

I am very sorry to hear what has happened to you. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people out there who prey on innocent honest people. Over the years I have gotten very weary of doing business online especially with such big dollar items. Did you have someone look at the car before you purchased? General rule of thumb. If it sound too good to be true....it usually is.

I hope you get your cash back and/or this guy is just held up for some reason and he will contact you.

Hey, for what it is worth, I talked to the guy for about 20-30 minutes about the car, even though it was sold. I did not even have a remote sense that he was scamming. In fact, I left the conversation thinking just the opposite that he was doing the same thing I do with my M3 (work on it with my son) and that he wanted to honor the deal he had made. Even explained about the condition of the car in detail. We left it on the idea that he would call me back if the person who had the deposit backed out since I am local, but made it a polite / friendly point that he had a deposit etc.

And explain your situation. They should be able to help out.

Anyway, I hope the below was not him and that this is all a weird misunderstanding. I live about 5-10 minutes from Ashburn if I can do anything...

OMG, that has to be Him, I was suspecting something like this but wanted over rule that until I hear a confirmation. I checked the Loudoun County Obituaries as well...
