Peter, Good luck with the auction, the next owner should be very happy with the car.

High bidder was a deadbeat! He paid the deposit the next day, then never showed any signs of life even after I called him and emailed him every day for a week. His voicemail mailbox was full from day 1, no idea what's happening with the guy so I'm refunding his deposit.

Now relisted at no reserve: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1988-...-/290631710469 I need to sell quickly for personal reasons.

I already offered to send it back, but he didn't respond to that email either. This guy is crazy. I contacted ebay to see what to do.

Quick question, The motor has been rebuilt yet the TB's have never been adjusted since 1988, seems strange, no?

I'm not sure why you think the TB's were not adjusted since 1988. I had it adjusted while I owned it (and my mechanic said it needed very little adjustment), and the car was well maintained by the previous owners so it was definitely checked and/or adjusted previously.

I can tell because the caps are yellow. When they get adjusted the replacement caps are blue. So when I see yellow caps I get suspicious.
