That guy is selling two of them. Both are white. The guy isn't willing to give out any info on them either. I called the guy (not that I had any interest in buying it, I really dislike the color white.) and he didn't know a whole lot about the car. I've asked for pics and more info, but the guy has pretty much ignored me. He did offer to send me pics to my phone, but my phone doesn't do pics (and never will.) I think someone took one of this guys cars for a spin and referenced it to DTM Legends thread stating that DTMs car pulled far better than the white one (likely one or the other of this guys.) Currently there are 5 E30 M3s for sale here in the Bay Area. These two, a DS project car ($10K, needs lots of work including a full paint job) in Concord, DTMs car in Modesto, and another DS car that may or may not be clean car but with 180+K miles for $16900 (a little high, but perhaps not.) I'll post links to all the above when I get home.

I'm going to look at the '88 AW/Cardinal for $21K tomorrow... Time to buy a 2nd one

As for the other '88 AW for $15300. Anyone looking at it should look carefully all over! especially the sheetmetal under the fusebox!!! Hint: It's not flat! Also this car spent 9 years in Kauai, Hawaii.

Nice list. As far as the AW (the one listed above) I'm sure within minutes of the post his box/phone is full of lowball offers. This happened to me when I sold a car in the pass. THE DELETE ALL buttom is very handy. Hopfully, he'll responses to your messages.

To be honest, I think I've found my future car, I'm just working the fine details of bringing back down here from Canada. (Do I need to pay a duty at the boarder? I have an email in with US Customs to find out.) I've got the Form HS-7 for the boarder, I'll need to check box 2b on the form. The other question I'll be asking the DMV is whether or not I'll have to pay back fees since it was first sold in CA, but then left the country and is now coming back (I don't think I do, but...)

I'd offer to go look at any of these cars, but I broke the transmission (bent a shift fork, I have no 2nd gear what so ever) in my only car that has an engine at this point. I can get to and from work with it, but thats about it. (If/when I break the shift fork I'm stuck in 1st gear) Needless to say, I'm not leaving town.

Vancouver. Its the right exterior color, right interior, and the right mileage with no rust. The Evo3 splitter on the stock front air dam as well as the rear wing with flap doesn't hurt either The car is pretty much exactly the way I would build one if I were starting from scratch.

Just test drove the aw/cardinal. Suspension was tight! Interior was decent. Engine did not feel as strong as mine. Engine has not been rebuilt just dressed up and not as clean as the pics would suggest... Rust bubbles under windshield gasket, jacking points, drivers door seam under door, license plate light and base of passenger B pillar. Very leaky car, even for an S14! I passed. If not for thr rust I would have bought it for the asking price...

Pictures can be deceiving and/or my idea of clean / excellent condition is very different from yours. But My DD e36 m3 is cleaner than this one!!!!!!!!!!! It's a decent driver at best. I guess I expect a lot for 22K!

If this is what one gets for 22K these days, it's a very sad situation for any e30 m3 enthusiast on a budget. When I bought my '88 in 99, I could have bought a friends '88 with 19K miles for about $20K! Instead I chose to save a few thousands and got one with 80K+ miles. Where is my time machine! My flux capacitor needs a recharge.

This car would have been under 10K back in '99! would have could have should have... yeah I know.
                        End rant!
