Per Lee, the estimate is about two weeks right now. (Plus shipping from Massive, of course.) He asked me to emphasize, however, that COVID is messing with lead times on everything, so please don't count on that as a hard and fast timeline.

    • HI everyone

For this group buy, I am producing front and rear hats, front radial mounts, rear caliper brackets, custom stainless steel drive-pins, custom radial mount studs. The whole line of production, from sourcing material to finished product is disrupted by the COVID-19 and therefore, a 3 week production turns into 5 weeks, plus anodizing. But please, don't worry, I will provide you with parts of the highest quality...

Sure Lee. I don't think anyone is worried- I think we're all just excited.

              • FYI, when you guys have your system apart to install the brakes, you should seriously consider opening up the ABS pump to clean it, or shipping an ABS module to Jordan on R3v to have him refurbish. I just opened up the extremely clean ABS module that I picked up to replace the clogged one that is currently in my M3. It is DISGUSTING inside. Moreover, I'm only partly disassembled, and I've already found one part that is likely irretrievably jammed (one of the cylinders actuated by the motor). Luckily, I have more ABS units to pull parts from, but.... Ick.

Here's his post that convinced me to open mine up:

                • Having 90% disassembled an ABS unit, I think that the procedure documented here will be adequate for most people, and it’s a LOT simpler than a full disassembly/reassembly. This assumes that you have even flow out of the ABS unit. If you don’t, then you have to take the whole thing apart.

One other thing to note is that brake cleaner appears to cause dramatic swelling of the ABS pump seals, so you need to let them shrink back down prior to reinstallation.

Usually it's best not to know how much money you have into your M3

I believe that everybody should have received an email from Lee at this point. You should check whatever email you used for the deposit.

I've also pinged Lee to let him know that you don't have yours.
