      Still looking for OEM Front wheel bearings.

      Any idea who makes the OEM wheel hub bearings for BMW? Anyone know if its SKF or Timken? I dont think its FAG or Timken.

        I have a pair of front OEM hubs. No ABS rings but OEM and SKF France marked. They are used but still tight and smooth. Perfect for what I think you are going to use them for, I was actually saving them to experiment for the centerlock pins re-drill but never got around to. How's $250 shipped. I now they are NLA at the moment from BMW and something crazy $1000 a piece.

          If you don't need the ABS rings, you can use E28 hubs, which are the same other than the tooth count of the reluctor wheel.

          Seems way more reasonable to do that than to pay $250 for used hubs that don't have the desirable ABS rings...

            After trying several hubs from around the world, the only one I've found will fit the m3 abs rings is the timken hubs from bimmerworld.
            skf seems to be nla everywhere at the moment.
            I purchased a viaco set from c3 which the rings don't fit on.
            I have several sets of 48 tooth ABS Rings which will fit the timken if anyone is in need.
            Please be aware - with timken hubs the screw for the disc doesn't line up where it should. At this point I'm just going to compromise as the disc will still be secured with the 5 surrounding bolts.

              Thanks for the replies guys. Roger @ Muzzi said the Timken ones wont work for my application modified for centerlock.

              I am seriously considering just going the full DTM Gr. A suspension at this point.

                Forgive me for jumping in half cocked but I thought the typical aftermarket center lock adapter was just an adapter with pin drives that bolts to a stock hub, then the "center lock" wheel goes onto that hub?

                The real Gruppe A DTM suspension is alot different. uses a completely different bearing set and configuration.

                I will ask are you building a DTM clone?
                Reason I always ask this question whenever it comes up on this board is unless someone "needs" Centerlocks I cannot fathom in all the world why anyone would voluntarily "want" Centerlocks. They are a fantastic pain in the ass unless you are doing mid-race pitstops -or- trying to build a museum quality DTM / Gruppe A clone.

                  Yep, building a DTM Gr. A clone. Was trying to take a shortcut but need the dtm gr.a strut stands for the wheels to fit under the evo fenders.

                  I already have the wheels and bmw ms titanium centerlock adapters... I don't blame you for being skeptical about what i'm doing here, you look like you have enough race cars yourself and speaking from experience.

                    I wouldnt say skeptical, just wondering as to the motive of wanting them, a true Gruppe A clone is an honorable motive in my mind, being the coolest hard parker at the C&C isnt LOL.
                    Im sure you know of Ton Vink who is turning out beautiful Gruppe A clones these days. Ton also seems to have available for sale most of what you would need to piece one together yourself.
