VAC and Tuner are both no goes. They didn’t stock any. Also tired GetBMWParts.com and multiple others and they all said they are currently on backorder with BMW Germany.

it’s just I’m tired of waiting as it’s the final part to get my motor back together.

Try Pelican... I just checked and it says that it ships withing 5 days. Now, it still might be out of stock and back ordered, but the same thing happened to me when I bought my valve adjustment tool from them. They said it was back ordered and had to get it from Germany... said it would take 5 - 7 weeks and it came in 10 days.

I'd call in to the phone line before ordering so that you can get a solid reply from a live person.

I also saw a set on fleebay, used, but wouldn't go that route....

              Good luck.

ECS, Turner (the parts business), Pelican and Bavarian Autosport are all the same company now. Order from anyone of them and they all ship from the same warehouse.

I would try Markus, he may be able to supply or give update when they will be available.

I emailed a contact at Febi-Bilstein asking if they could manufacture these and due to the amount (2000) of E30 M3's registered in US+Candada, it is not worth it to them. He told me that Bosch is the supplier that made this part.

I called my BMW dealer and he said there are 130pcs on back order. Talking with Mario at VSR1, he said that BMW needs to have 200pcs backordered and then they take action. Those aren't his exact words, but he did tell me a few instances in which ordering a large, arbitrary number helped kick off the orders. Mario will submit an order that puts the total backorder over 200pcs. Hopefully this triggers BMW to start production because I too need this part.

Update: BMW Classic responded to my dealership's request. Here's the reply: "Per classic parts team, no ETA is currently available. Please check back in Q2 for updates."

Yes, there is a guy in France that makes an Aluminum version. And Metric Mechanic made his own out of steel. I talked to Jim at MM for an hour about his piece and how it's improved from the stock S14 design.

This is why I fucking hate BMW and refuse to buy any of their new crap. For the $500 BMW used to get for this piece it can be made out of 3D printed Inconel or Titanium and ULTEM 4001.

Unfortunately, the grass roots passion of made by driver's for drivers has sunset.
                            Have a nice day. :hi:
