  • Any want to rescue these cars?

Was browsing through the internet the other day and found these two cars at the junk yard: a black Alpina B10 and a blue E30 M3. Because these cars were obtained in Japan and are imported as "parts", one cannot get the plates to have them run on the streets here. Obviously it won't make much monetary sense for some people, but for other entusiasts where an M3 cannot be found, this may be helpful. Apparently both cars are in working condition (ie. engine starts, is drivable). Just wondering if anyone was interested.

I've contacted the seller to ask about the B10, and apparently it's a genuine one (4wd, turbo, etc.).

It is a shame... If it weren't for the fact that I can't get a legit plate on one of these cars, I'd be buying one. :sosad:

There was actually an alpina b10 (e34 bi-turbo) along with some other AMG Old Sch Mercedes at a dealer lot in Elizabeth NJ a few years back. Story was the owner imported the cars and wasn't able to pay the full tab to get them road worthy. It was sad to see the cars rotting away in the open with weeds and grass growing through the deep dish wheels :sosad:

There's really not much to translate regarding the ECU. All the seller said was there's an improvement in takeoff, acceleration and top speed.
