  • GROUP BUY - Tubular manifold.

Total BMW this month - you might be aware of
the prototype tubular manifold Nick has refered to...

... well after a brief discussion with BTB i have secured a possibility of a
group buy. Manifolds are available in mild steel or stainless and they
    look the dogs.

Will mate to std system and has a Lambda probe fitting.

These arn't some fly by night operation, they produced exhaust systems
for DTM, BTCC as well as Prodrive back in the days (check the link)

    http://www.racecar.com/bmwexhausts/bmwe30exhausts.htm

Prices are TBC dependant on numbers, but we are circa 350-400 for
the stainless compared to 975 for a SINGLE manifold.

This does NOT include shipping costs.

    We need at least 11.

If anybody would be up for this please add your name to this post.

Now, at this point I am waiting on the best payment arrangement, but
suffice to say I WILL NOT BE PUTTING THE MONEY UP FRONT However I will most likely arrange for all parties to supply a deposit to
    secure.

Also would benefit if someone States side could be the conduit for any shipping.

    Drool...

Looks nice, assume they have all water piping in account for clearance. Is tubing 50mm? Would be interested in carbon steel model so I can jet hot coat it. Pound-Dollar exchange is the PITS!

I could possibly help with us side depending on shipping procedure. Let me know.
    Regards,
    John

It looks like 63mm from the website. That is big

Not that I am interested, as I am a poor bastard, but I trust these are equal length? Does the purchaser get the option of either mild or stainless? What lead time would we be looking at if all the buyers have paid in full? Does these fit a stock (meaning, the rest of the exhaust system will bolt right up). These could help folks out.

Also, are we sure its 50mm? 63mm is monster for anything most folks will need on this board.

                Will
Increasing the value of E30 M3's everywhere - one shunt at a time.

I am very interested in finding out more.

                  More photos etc
                  50mm primary and secondary?
                  2.5mm pipe?
                  Weight?

                  Have they been tested/dynoed?

Prototype has been fitted and will be dyno'd very soon.

                    Weight ? don't know yet.

                    Option of stainless or mild.

I will gather up all questions next week and send them over in one go.

Yep, I'll need a few more details before I commit.

                          - Primary/secondary diameters
                          - What spec engine are these designed for? (i.e. cam spec, power output goal)
                          - Firm price
                          - When payment must be made by
                          - Estimated shipping date
                          - Can we opt for a full system?

                          Thanks!
