    Window issues

Before you go thru the trouble of yanking the motor out. Check the switches by removing the driver's side switch and placing it in the passengers side. This is done easy with the shift boot un snapped from the console. I never seen a window motor really go bad unless the car was expose to alot of water and the complete rusted door would show this.

I did swap the switch, that's not the problem. I haven't tested the motor yet, I just assumed it was bad. Then I stumbled on this: http://www.unofficialbmw.com/e30/int...ow_repair.html So I'll see if maybe I can clean it out? Assuming it's not d.o.a.

PS - is there a difference between the M3 vs other E30's? I'm about to go search... I figure they're the same though.
