Steve Walker - Asahi Kiko M3

I was fortunate to get 15 minutes of Steve's time during the SVRA Historics at Portland International Raceway on Saturday (7/24). What a great guy. He toured me around his M3 and I must say this is a fantastic race car. So wonderful to meet people like Steve who have a love for these cars and yet willing to drive them in anger around a race track.

This car is a Gruppe A JTCC spec. 2.5ltrs (EVO 3), approximately 350hp (maybe a little bit more). The car was thoroughly restored several years ago just prior to Steve's acquisition. Nice history and provenance.













My car was a little shy and didn't want to get any closer to Gruppe A greatness.

I met Steve at road america a few years ago and had a similar experience. Nice, car guy. The m3 was flawless and super clean, I got some really nice pics for inspiration!
