  • 30 secs. of glory beating a C6 Corvette Trans AM race car the start of the race

Raced last weekend, this is a video form a C6 Trans AM racecar I had a pretty good
start but, there is no subsitute for HP. I ended up winning the race, you will see what
happened towards the end of the vid.

Oi, that took painfully long at the end of the video.
Did they manage to extinct the fire?

Somehow like a fight with a small, but sharp knife against a big axe...

Your car looks good in the corners.

      Mike,

Do you know what caused the fire?

Are you running the new 2.7?

      Thanks,
      Mike K.

Apparently, the exhaust caused the Carbon Fiber bodywork to ignite. Worst part
was that the extinguisher didn`t work. Only a small trickly came out and this is a
        new car and bottle.

Yeh, so far not really seeing any gains, I will know next event when I change to
a 4.27 gear vs. the current 4.10 (was trying not to rev to high at top speed on the
back straight). I always ran a 4.27 at Mosport with the 2.5l, it would peak at 8200
        - 8300 right now I`m hitting 7800 - 7900. (So, top speed is actually slower than
before) I did increase the rev limiter to 8400 this weekend. Next time out 8500.

Yup, car was saved, although it needs some new bodywork, they are trying to make it
out in 2 weeks. They had it started and running the next day.

Glad to hear that, nothing worse than having to stand back
and watch your pride and joy go up in flames in front of you.

Would love to see/hear any outside vids you have of your new engine
on the track, I'd imagine it sounds fantastic.

Not at all surprised that a much higher hp car once again gets a view of the back of Mike's M3. That car is my inspiration along with Mike's driving.

Nice to see your car is still wicked quick. I would say it's the quickest in North America. Well sorted, money invested at the right places.
I noticed the Kriks bros are slower or you got faster?!?!?
                  Keep going Mike!
Ours is retired for this year, JM had a new baby boy, so no racing untill 2012.
