This is the answer I got from Sweden

    Hello from Sweden
Our 5 speed seq. gearbox fits onto oe BMW E30 bellhousing and can delivered
    with BMW spline on inputshaft.
We got a huge range of ratios from 3,0 on 1st to 0,83 on 5th
It fits int E30 tunnel without modifications.
You need to adapt BMW propshaft to a Volvo shaft.
For oversea customer a Volvo propshaft is included.
Price for a complete unit with gearleaver, gear idicator display etc is 75
000 SEK ex VAT (1 usd is approx 7,2 SEK) :10000USD$

Nice to see Sellholm being mentioned on this forum!

I live only 30km from their workshop.. I've been there often, Sellholms have custom built my coilover shocks on my track m3.. I can highly recommend them.

          Gear box

Just bought one of these, 5 speed.
Being fitted next week. Stright cut Gears, ratios to suit a 3.9 diff.
Let you know how it works out next week.

What gear ratios did you order. Similar to the Getrag 2.33(Group A)???

That has, without a doubt, the highest "car porn" drool factor I have seen posted here in a long time. Lucky for me it costs $10K....if it was much less I would be thinking of a way to do it.

Think how fun these cars would be with sequential shifting......

                  More Pictures

Not sure what the Ratios are,
Just told them what wheel size and Diff I will be using and they worked it out. Rally cars are not built for top speed. 120mph Max.
I will get more photo durning fitting and testing.

Just a few more details on the Sellholm sequential gearbox.
They have told me that in 1st gear It will do 58mph with a 14 to 15 mph rise in each gear after that. 120mph at 8500rpm on 16" rims.
No clutch will be required once on the move as it has dog engagement.
This would also mean that a electronic gear change would be possible. Buttons on steering Wheel.
Just like the WRC and F1 boys.

down shifts can also be done without clutch? Very cool transmission. I have a billet planetary transmission for my hot rod (dead project now). I will pull it out and shoot some pics for the thread.
