  • My New M3, some new pics from a new member

I am an x Impreza owner, had an e36 m3 for a while but have always promised myself one of these, here she is, not the best pics but will add some more high res ones at the weekend, & before you say it, yes i know the M3 badge is on the wrong side, does anyone know if i can e stick it on the other side, i know that a hairdryer & dental floss are the chosen tools for removal!

1990 Most Service History all original German Docs, 65k miles, owned for past 4 yrs by a specialist BMW firm in Leeds. Lots of new bits, car is mint in & out, no leather though

    Nice find; looks really clean.
How much did you pay for it?

I'm in the UK as well mate and I would say that just under £6K for that is a bargain, bearing in mind it's an H plater so it's got the late spec engine (48mm TB's, YUM! )
Hope you enjoy your new purchase, it may not have that instant big-boost speed thang that the Scooby would have done but it has so much class, heritage and control that the speed thing is soon forgotten on the first proper drive

Stick some more piccies up when you can......

Tha later engines (in Europe at least) had the 48mm throttle bodies as opposed to the 46mm ones, they also had Evo 2 cams (although not the head). There are a few other differences as well but that's the main ones.
They are rated at 215bhp but they never make this. I would strongly recommend getting the car re-mapped at some point as it completely changes the driving experience, of course this depends on wether you plan any other engine mods........

On other thing, call me a doofus if you will (most people do!) but isn't this your car currently on Ebay? .... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...&category=9837

yep speculatively thinking about selling it. we were buying a house with a garage hence the purchase, thathas now fallen through & the new place we like is on a main road with no off street parking, garage, & is resident permit so you inevitably have to park at the end of the street etc etc & becuase of its location i;ll have to drive to the British Rail station & leave it in a car park all day too, not ideal conditions for such a superb motor really :(

                    DOH!:homer:
That's a major bummer dude. Just think, if it wasn't for scummy car thieves and the like we wouldn't have to be dictated as to what cars we can safely own.......I really hate this world at times:grr:

well it "owes" me around 5900 so 5 would be quite painful, if you made it 5350 it would seriously consider it, come take a look if you want, could run it as daily driver alongside you other one? mmmmmm

I'd be interested to take a look though, I'll let you know how this weekend is looking........whereabouts in North London are you BTW? (rough location, I don't want you to post your address on a public forum :surprised )

Go on , buy another , you know it makes no financial sense :rolling:

£5350 for an H plate doesn't sound to bad though . Let us know how you get on .
