  • Went for a drive....(lots of pics)

Well I had the week off from work, and the daughter was at grandma's house so the wife and I took a nice leisurely drive up across the Hood Canal bridge and around the Olympic Peninsula via the Pacific Coast Hwy (101) The weather was excellent and the car even better. Despite the need for a valve adjustment the car returned an impressive 31 mpg on the 320 mile trip. Aside from the occasional retiree and dump truck the road was pretty much mine. The highway travels along Cresent lake for about 15 miles, wonderful section of road. Very tight twisties and unbeatable scenery. Just north of Aberdeen the highway kisses the ocean for 20 miles and reveals some impressive views. I have lived in washington for nearly 20 years and had no idea there were beaches like that. I wish I'd planned more time to go beach-combing, well next time. Well to anyone that has the time I highly recommend this drive, and if you're stopping for lunch in Forks, go to Sully's drive in, the burgers can't be beat. Hope you enjoy the pics.

          use the .txt trick
change all ur pictures from .jpg to .txt
          it works perfectly
