Looking good Ryan, now whats the verdict on the 245/35 F1 D3? Its going to be new tires (and rims haha) time in the not too distant future, and i think i'm gonna go that route. How is the fitment? Enlighten me.

Bodywork looks great, can't wait for mine to be done!

      the tires fit very well.
I am happy with them so far, the 60 miles I have driven them for...
I have a broken rear sway-bar link mount to I need to get that fixed before I can really feel the difference of these tires.
I have had the car aligned with the adjustable rear bushings to have 2.8 degrees of camber, which is just enough to not burn these up too fast...
I will post some results after I get the mount fixed and I can put these babies to the test...

They are quiet, and very grippy. They have a stiff sidewall and have very predictable performance... too bad they are discontinued and I got one of the last sets... tire rack doesn't have anymore :(

What? They just came out! It says on Tire Rack's wholesale page that they're just low stock/backordered, says nothing about being discontinued.

in a 245/35/17 they are discontinued, because its an oddball size. They are NLA, last time I checked the page...

I believe I got one of the last Goodyear F1 GS-D3 235/40-17 as well. But I'm pretty sure they are still 245/35-17 tires available from tirerack. I really don't think the 245/35 got discontinued, but they changed the speed rating from a W to a Y, although Goodyear stated that nothing has changed regarding the tire or the rubber compound.

Alex, at $137 for 245/35-17 GS-D3s at tirerack, you better jump on that price quick!!! That price will not be around for long.

Hey Ryan, this is chad in Santa Barbara. Your car has always been a favorite of mine.
When I saw your wheels I thought they where the e46 m3 19" competition wheels.
                  Awesome car.
