Vlad: The wheels are Hamann Motorsport, a bit rare I was told. Size are 10x17 and 8.5x17 I think...Hard to remember when you got two cars..
Offsett can't I remember, but I can check for you.

Motorsport 16v: The dash is flocked. It is custom yes. The same they use in rally cars. What they do is they spray epoxy glue to the dash and then spray it with eletrically charged nylon threads, and when they hit the epoxy they will stand. So you can get up to 10.000 threads per square centimeter. When you touch it, it's like touching a head that was shaved for a week or two ago..If you know what I mean..

    Anything else, just ask

        • Your car looks superb with those deep rims.

I'm interested by your air filter being fitted straight onto the air flow meter, Does it give much more induction noise?

My car has a standard airbox but I want some induction noise without too much expense, I was thinking of doing this myself but was unsure of the result.

What is the new bracket like that you have made to support the air flow meter, Can you post a picture of it if possible.

          Cheers.

            • Put up some other pictures as well. Mobilephone photos though...

              New polished:

Here is the bracket. Made from 12mm aluminium. Found it in a container at work, and made the rest at home.

About the induction noise, I had a K&N filter in the original filter box, and when I fitted this it was not som much difference. I don't like that sound so much eather so... I had Evo2 box as well.

I just removed the airbox and fitted the adapter for 80mm filter and bought the K&N filter for 80mm fitting.

                • That's very nice but for some reason classic RS wheels don't work quite well on cabrio's as much as Coupe's.... LM' or ACS wheels look a little bit better IMO ! Very nice car none the less !

Thanks The 240 I build by my self, so that is my soul car. It's my first car as well so.
It is it's last winter and summer now before I will tear it down for restoration.

But the M3 also need some personalisation...or how I should write it..
