Mitch, a very nice car. Saw it on Ebay a while back. Good to see another E30 M3 in Oz. Good luck with the rebuild. My car is only a few weeks off completion. RHD conversion is done, waiting on compliance and then a fresh paint job.
Cheers :chug:

"But most of all...... I like the way youmove......"
Sorry, RX Auto is a workshop in Brisbane that deals with some of the local e30 M3's there was a car very similar to yours there when I was working on my car.
RX Automotive are in Coopers Plains. Simon Harrex is the owner. He has worked on most of the BMW club cars at some stage. He is a very good engine builder, and coming from a racing background (he is a ex-Aust champion in sports sedans and has run bathurst a few times) he also knows how to build a strong motor. Give him a call and discuss what you are having done. I am sure he will be able to give you some good advice.

Carol will probably answer the phone and just ask to speak to Simon about a rebuild on an M3. Tell him Dave Ross spoke to you. He has done quite a few recently including my turbocharged one and also a turbocharged M635. He built Julian Seger's turbocharged M635i and is now producing over 500HP. He is very thorough.
I hate reading this .. Of course cause I have also just bought an E24 M6 500hp damn sounds nice. But I have bought an engine build by Pip Barker (engine builder of the E30 JPS Aussie cars) stroked 3.6 ltr M5 motor now 3.7 group A pistons M1 valves and head bits 12:1 fully balanced and blueprinted redline etsimated at around 9000 guessing the HP to be 450 at the flywheel. If I can find a cheap E30 M3 rolling shell it will go in that. But I am still unsure what to do with it.
I have just about got all my bits for the rebuild now though (excited) but heading to Sydney for a shoulder reconstruction on Tuesday so will be outta the game for 3 months or so.
I actually met simon (little guy) at QR around 7 weeks ago when I did the front seal in my S14 :'(
I think I will see what Justin Wade can come up with
Still looking forward to seeing your car
