  • I finally found a M3

After about a year of lurking here on s14.net and searching for a DS M3 I finally found one! Even though I said I wouldn't settle for anything less for black on black or black on cardinal I did. I am extremely happy with the grey interior though and probably won't change much on the inside with the exception of the addition some Sparco EVOs and auxiliary gauges. Everything else will be kept mostly stock for reliability at the track but the stock exhaust has got to go! Thanks to M3_Flyer, jdbunda and delliot00 for taking such good care of this car and now the pictures of how she looks after the first week of ownership.

No big brake kit, but stainless lines and drilled rotors. The rotors will be replaced by solid soon so I don't have to worry about cracking and the fluid will be updated to AP600 for some track duty.

Centercaps and tint were the first things to go! Everyone keeps telling me to put the centercaps back on and I keep telling it looks way better with out

You're right! It has Bilstein shocks, H&R sport spings and Ireland Engineering sway bars.

No kidding, after a couple false alarms and cars being sold out from under me it was great to get one in such good condition and without many hassles.

Congrats on the car! Love the composition of the pics...especially the "Mean" one.

BTW, two thumbs up for not running center caps. I always think they look sportier and more purposeful without them.

The only nit-pick comment I can make is to paint the bearing cap something to get rid of that rusty color. I've used flat black and/or stainless steel and it makes a big difference.

Now I know why Nikos is such a cool guy... I agree with everything in his post..

Also.. if you put the center caps on... chances are they will get swiped... ask me how I know..... So leave them off and then if you really want to look pimpin' then throw them on for special occasions... but for everyday use leave them off...

Love the pics... would love to have a pulled back pic of the entire car with the " Mean" quote...

I remember talking to delliot00 about this car quite some time ago when he was selling - seemed like a VERY nice car. Hindsight? I should have bought it then!

                              Well done,
