  • New addition to the family

Well yesterday I picked up a new one. The one not wearing stock wheels is the new '89. 50k miles and only modifications are rear swaybar, Jim C chip and obviously the wheels. She is in dire need of a polish, which I hope to accomplish next week. Weel I hope you guys like the pics, I'll take more shortly.

err looks like the one with the different wheels has an exhuast too. you should doo all the same mods to them to make them twins!

Yeah, I thought so too, but I looked under there and it looks like he just welded the tips to the stock muffler. It does sound a bit louder than the one with the stock wheels though...

the real question is, which one is faster??

How different do the two different motors feel?

The '89 actually feels a little bit faster, but that may just be in my head due to the slightly louder exhaust note. The '90 has a Dinan chip and exhaust cam gear. My father in law has a dyno, and the '90 dynoed at 168 rwhp. I'll dyno the '89 later this summer.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay?

                Thanks for the pm.
Looks like you got a great deal!
You plan on selling one or are you gonna keep them together?
