Live in Hollywood, work in Santa Monica. But the top photo was taken in Venice. Where you at?

Yeah I plan on keeping it looking stock. Only thing about the cars from out east is rust. This one has two minor spots (cowl and trunk), but after having them checked out, they aren't urgent. When I get the front cowl fixed I'll end up painting the hood and roof to get rid of stone chips so I'm waiting a bit.

Welcome! You've got a great looking car, and your interior is in really great shape. Any plans for wheels, or will you be staying with the stocks?

That's cool. I'm down in San Pedro. You should come out to some of our local meets. There's Southbay every 2nd sunday of the month and Van Nuys every last friday.

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys.

This is actually my second E30 M3 -- my first was a '91, which I had back in 2001 in Seattle. I sold it for a WRX and spent the last ten years wishing I hadn't, but not finding the right E30 at the right time until recently. This one has 100,000mi and yeah, she is in great shape, with all repairs so far being the usual wear-and-tear stuff (replaced blower, refreshed cooling system, fixed up oil pump and housing, etc.)

I'm thinking about wheels although I love the basket weaves. Considering trying to find a set of Hartage wheels from the era.

I'm totally into coming to one of the local meets.

                        New engine stuff:

                        VAC spark plug wires
                        Intake manifold gaskets
                        Valve adjustment

                        Considering doing the timing chain

Once the engine has been restored it's on to the suspension (including KW coilovers) and then a repaint from Specialty Car Craft in LA.

That $15k rule really is a $20k rule these days.
