Looks great Aaron, can't wait to see the dyno charts!
Have you fitted a catch can and done away with the breather connection to the inlet?
I wasn't quick enough, looks like you've sold the evo injectors? Let me know if that has changed.
Did you happen to find out if your engine shop used a torque plate? I'm about to have mine bored to 94 mm and am still not sure if it is really necessary ?

Thanks John. I didn't get a chance to clean up the Toyota alternator but I'll do that at a later date. I will send you the details for the alternator and mods too, it's about 1/2 the weight of the Bosch and a better adjustment method too.
I don't think a torque plate was used but I'll confirm this for you.
Yeah the injectors got jumped on quite quickly. If I had of known I would have set them aside for you.
I haven't set up a catch can either but I'll most likely do that fairly soon.

Hi Aaron,
Good to see a photo of your project and it looks good may be when the alternator is cleaned up you get a bosch decal for it to make it look
like it is more factory if that makes sense.

On the subject of torque plate which was not used on my engine, they did not bore it out when I went form std size to second oversize (93.8mm) due such little material to remove from the bore they machine honed from std to o/size.

The engine re conditioner did hone it later in the afternoon and then finished it to size the next morning this was due to heat build up in the block which would have expanded the bores and given a bigger indicated diameter than it would have when it is at room temp where it should be measured for correct piston to bore measurement..

It was fired up today and all looked great except the alternator wasn't charging......:(. Damn Toyota parts lol

Unfortunately Santa didn't bring me my M3 on time. The weather here was ridiculously hot on Thursday and Friday and really wasn't conducive with dyno work. He did manage to get some tuning in and was very happy with the results so far. So now I won't get her till mid January :(

Ok....picking her up tomorrow ALS said she is driving well and should be a lot if fun. Just need to get rear fenders rolled as soon as I get her home.
