Plans are underway to bring O-fest to Newport, RI in September 2023. It just so happens that the host hotel is less than 2 miles from my house. If there is an interest in having an E30 M3 event in conjunction with O-fest, I will be happy to help coordinate. Putting out this preliminary note to measure interest. Please comment if you're interested or definitely planning to attend.

I second that! Plus, Newport is always a great spot to go to no matter what time of year.

Went out yesterday to scope potential autocross venues, it appears that the host hotel is in Warwick.

Host hotel is in Warwick? That is not Newport.... Newport is 40min drive and a toll bridge away. Looks like hotel is 45min to an hour away from all activities. Track is an hour drive. Ft adams is 45min.

I used to live near there.

A few additional details have been confirmed. First, the autocross venue will be the Seekonk Speedway, which looks perfect. Huge lot with nice camber, bathroom facilities and food nearby.

Second, it is my understanding that the Concours will be held at Ft. Adams State Park, and it will be the day preceding the Newport Concours that's hosted by the Audrain Museum. I have heard that the BMW CCA will have a corral for the Newport Concours, but this has not been confirmed.

Another update: The Club will be allotted 150 spaces for the Audrain Museum Saturday Cars & Coffee at Ft. Adams State Park. The Club Concours will be held during this C&C. This is one of the best C&C events in the northeast, should be a real highlight of the event.
