Question: Code Function on OBC

I did some searching and figured out how to use my code function on the OBC as a safety precaution.

The problem I am having is sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't.
For instance, I can turn the key in the "ON" position and get the "Code" function (to punch in a code) to work and sometimes it doesn't.
Anyone ever experience this or am I doing something wrong?

It should work all the time but if you do this $5 mod you can have a hidden switch that does the same thing.
