Best Non-Synthetic for these cars?(To offset the synthetic thread)

On one hand, it could be an effort to point general consumers to oils that contain less ZDDP (for emissions reasons). On the other hand, it may be formulated in a manner (e.g. less detergents) that may not be most suitable for long term street use.

The best thing to do is ask Valvoline about this, as now I am a little concerned that "racing" may not mean "better" for street applications.
