  • front spoiler chin

    Hi!
    well, i wanted to make a mod for my car, and though of the spoiler chin, i want to make one, with fiberglass, y know a guy that is a genius making these things... sooo.... does any of you guys can post pictures of the spolier chin so i can copy it? what is inside it? what details does it have... please, if you can help with my proyect, i will be more than happy!

    You are better off just buying it. It really doesn't cost too much as opposed to creating a mold and fiberglassing it. Search some vendors and see what they cost and if they deliver to Peru.

      they are 250 bucks and without shipping, is way to much for a little detail, and i have this guy that is a genius with fiberglass... please if anyone can help with this request, i will appreciate it

        Take the front bumper off the car, trace the contour of the bumper onto some carboard and use that as a template for an EVOIII style splitter.

          I think he is talking about the Evo II chin spoiler, not the Evo III splitter.

            Reinventing the wheel is stupid. I don't care if your friend is the preeminent carbon and fiberglass specialist in the world... If he doesn't have a sample to make a mold from, then $250 is going to sound like chump change. Even if you do have a sample, there slots on the back of the chin that can only be made with injection/volcanization process. Don't waste your friends talents on shit. If you can't afford it, save.
