When I put the chassis no into the etk it dislays as 'm3 2 door ece'. I believe it should read 'm sport e2' for a factory evo2.

I dont know however, if i am correct, as i am new to using the etk application. So maybe get a second opinion from one of the more experienced s14 members.

      Hello,
it says: m3 2 door ece always when you let it check aVIN of a EVO 2
      so that means nothing

Macao blue eh? Joep, this suggests two things. Either it's had a color change or the VIN has been doctored. How does the seller account for this?

I second that - Joe, you are in a prime position to ask delving questions and if the car has history for 10 years, then details of what Jake says would be available.

you can get that info from the dealer. It's not in ETK.
Mobile Tradition offers a Certificate with all the data on it as well for 50EUR.
