Where did you install your WBO2 sensor? After the header joint, right before the cats? (or resonator if you have no cats). I understand the stock header location in the crossover pipe is too close to the exhaust ports. Is this correct?

I've been running mine in the stock (Sport Evo) header location for about 12 years now....no issues.

I used the stock location and a "heat sink bung adapter"

Maybe overkill, but seemed to work ok.

Curious... Chris, I could barely get the O2 sensor in there as it was - I can't imagine adding any height, but I can see that this is a good idea.

I have the 50/50 rally header. I can't remember where the "stock" location was on my old header.

My O2 bung is located here:

Looks like the 2.3 and SE stock locations are farther up.... I guess it's good news for me that mine is farther down. They recommend 18" or so.

Yeah on the stock header its farther up and also angled such that its not perpendicular to the collector so the extender fits. I'm actually switching to the same header you have and was planning on placing the bung in the same place you have. If that doesn't work I did have a bung added to a VSR center section at the crossover for Plan B.

Have your welder do a test fit/mock up or two so they can angle the bung over to the driver side a little. It makes a night/day difference in ease of fitment.

Brandon, do you have a pic where you placed yours? I do not want to run in NB sim mode. Rather install a second bung.

Finally finished my additional 02 Bung install today and the LC-2 is working like a champ! Installed it on the X-pipe crossover.
