Just trying to comparison shop. My car with 48K miles on it is insured for $90K with American Collectors insurance. It is insured in the tier with the lowest allowed miles per year (2500) and has the usual limitations about not commuting to work, garaged, etc. Limits are 300/500/100K, and my collision/comp deductible is $1,000. My annual premium is now $1400. I do get a small discount through USAA which makes my annual premium around $1325, but I'm wondering if I'm better off trying another insurance company.

level1 was around $168,000
level2 was $105,000
level3 was $79,000
lebel 4 was $35,000
its a bit lower today, but still absurd.

I've put nearly 10k on my car in 15 months of ownership, does anyone actually insure these cars if you drive them? I drive it to work, to the grocery store, on the twisties, to LA for the hell of it... I've got Geico because they cover my other cars but I am wary of how they'd handle an issue with the M3.

Under MVP program, you can get unlimited mileage and agreed value for all your cars. It's a special program they have for people looking to insure 3 or more cars under an agreed value policy.

I'm switching to Grundy and was wondering if anyone is using Grundy for their daily drivers also? It seems they cover both collectables and daily drivers."Just road, seat, ASS; THE END!" - Jeremy Clarkson
