I am looking at the 290 cam. I wanted to see if anyone has actually purchased and installed. I am considering the 290 as an intake cam and using my 272 as an exhaust cam. I have a 2.3L that has had head work by Pete McHenry. I upgraded the valve springs to Schrick. Let me know. Thanks

I run them as 290/290 with stock EVO3 pistons, AFM and EVO3 springs.
Idles ok and good midrange IMO.
Go above 5000 and the grin factor comes in...

Goodbye M3, you served me well.

      Cam Timing

Did you advance the intake and retard the exhaust ? If so how much ?

      Thanks,

      Chip

I wouldn't recommend such high duration cams on a 2.3

          Why that?
I have timed them to the specs given by KK (manufacturer) at 3.6mm lift at TDC
