What model fan did you use from SPAL. I got a low profile but I don't think it moves enough air.

I have just fitted a 16' spal push fan in mine, and did away with the mechanical fan (needed a viscous voupcoup anyways). I used a 80/88 degree temp switch in the thermostat housing in place of the standard higher temp switch (94/98?). Very happy with the result. Why use the spal sender? The 80/88 is a common mod, Google it.

I welded a bung to the aluminum coolant pipe that bolts to the head....right next to the OEM coolant sensors....

    Hey guys,
Where’s a good place to install a Spal electric radiator fan sending unit? I might have to get a wired ground sending unit for putting it inline with a hose.
Working...
