    Cool videos....

    In that first video...how was a Datsun "Z" with stock appearing bodywork running with a Kremer 935 and the other cars (at least for a while)? Doesn't seem possible...

    I briefly saw the white/green ex- Frank Leary Datsun "Z" on track. I was at the Laguna IMSA races in spring of 1980, and I still remember that car was for sale in the pits because all the top runners had by then switched to the 280ZX.

    I mention this because they were only asking $8K for it. If only I knew then what I know now....although back then $8K was in the stratosphere for me anyway....

      2 factors contributed to how well that Z car ran:

      1) It was driven by John Morton.
      2) It had a far from period motor. Rumor was it was 3.4 liter grenade motor put together by Rob @ Z Car Garage.
