  • Relay

Been trying to sort out my A/C issues. Where is the A/C relay? Looked all over and can't find it. So close to finishing all the issues and feel pretty frustrated right now. Thanks for any help.

Hi, There is no AC relay in the main fuse box. Just the high and low speed aux fan relays (K1 and K6)

Post your problem so we can suggest a few pointers ie, does the fan go and does the clutch click on.

The compressor goes on and off intermittently. Stays on for 3 min and won't go back on for at least 5 min. The air blows cold when its on. I changed out my air interior switch. The system is fully charged and the compressor is new.

Okay when it goes off for 5 min this is when you need to be busy with a test light to probe for power.
Power comes out of the cabin to the pressure switch/s on the receiver dryer then to the temp switch (two wire)on the thermostat housing (some have this in the radiator)
          then to the compressor clutch.

All of the switch must have power in and out for the system to work as they are wired in series.

If the one on top of the receiver dryer has power in and not out this could mean low on gas.

If the Temp switch is on the thermostat housing have a real close look at the wiring the vibrations can brake the wires.
