  • this 2.5 S14 setup?

If I read that piston spec sheet correctly, it lists the bore as 3.720" (94.488mm). The 2.5L has a 95.0mm standard bore.

The only other thing I see that might be 2.5L specific is that head gasket. The cams and rods would fit a 2.3L or 2.5L.

Not the easiest piston pin diameter and CH choices for S14.

Could this be a low compression setup for turbo?

I know that this kit was originally put together by the best builder of bmw engines in north america .. Bill Watson who has extracted 200 hp from an m10 motor ... does this kit look aggressive ?

                A few questions.

                -HG thickness and bore
-conrod c-c lenght and piston pin diameter. If I read the form right - piston has thinner pin as stock s14, and CH is way too low for s14 with 144mm rod with either 84mm or 87mm stroke
-schrick cams... something between 276 and 320 degrees?

Without this information, it is just a bunch of parts, not a whole

It doesn't matter who it came from, without specifics there isn't much to say. I can say that judging from the valve reliefs on the pistons these are meant to be stock compression without much added valve lift from the cams.

He said he’s building this kit with the 2.3 stock crank
