Marshall if you look back on BAT for S14s for sale, I think it was Mike Krnc that was selling an S14 and I think it was a very slick little storage / shipping stand for an S14.
I think he said that it came from Korman.
This is all going by memory, but its on BAT, I think I even commented on the stand in the auction LOL.
I'd love to have a couple of those.

That said I have driven mine all over creation in the back of my truck (back and forth to Dons in south Jersey, to Rons in NY, to Fletcher's in VA) using a stock oil pan, two stacks of wood under a pair of stock engine arms to level it to the stock oil pan, and a few ratchet straps to tie down points in the bed of my truck.

yep...saw that neat one on BaT.
I need something simple for a short trip and for working on. can't rest it on the oil pan...it is an expensive custom aluminum part...not replaceable. i also don't have the stock mounting arms as the engine is/was in a 2002....

I've not tried it but seen many people throw an old tire under the oil pan for some dampening. Another idea would be some styrofoam inslulation sheets cut up under the pan for some protection as well.

If you can leave the header on it can help balance it

This one doesn't look trivial to make, but sure looks sweet. Maybe square tubing for the bottom rectangle instead of round would help.
