Grundy seems to be a fan favorite around here. : )
I guess I should have provided a bit more context for my personal situation....
I got a quote from Grundy. Agreed value $75k, cost $580/year. To me that seemed very reasonable. However, as part of the Grundy policy requirement, I had to make an update to my daily driver insurance (state farm), to add uninsured/under-insured motorist coverage. In talking with the state farm agent, they ran the numbers on the same policy (as Grundy), and quoted me agreed value $75k, at $320/year. I was a bit surprised by the much lower quote, and hoping to get input from anyone else that has state farm policy. Maybe its a great policy, maybe there's a catch? Donno..... hence this thread.

I have had Grundy since 2003 on mine. I have had a claim -windshield replacement. I wanted factory glass. I wanted the installer to make 2 trips -come and remove the old glass and give me a week to clean up all the sealant, treat any scratches the installed made while removing the old windshield, come back and install the new one. Grundy accommodated it.

My M3 also insured with Grundy. That being said the proof will be in the claim process that I hope to never go through.

I first signed my BMW with them in about 2005, and have since added another collector car to the policy. Very user-friendly and reasonably priced.

Yes, I have been with the same State Farm agent 25 years+, and my M3 has a classic car policy with them. I set the value at $70k which I know is too low.
This past year my rates went way up, but I have the same guy for so long and he has all my stuff and has been good to me.
