BMW Motorsport made you a very nice kit from the factory when they designed the S38-B38 by getting rid of the dated Distributor parts like the housing, the metal flange which holds the rotor, they got rid of the long flange which uses the Seal and potentially they leak from there...Back in 2002 they were plenty available to buy. Around 2021 I purchased the last 6 Cam sensor covers.
The S38-B38 parts look so clean, never leaks, etc.. never understood why one is in a need to try to re-invent the wheel with something which is never going to look as good as the S38B38 parts..
