  • Heater core and heater control valve replacement help

Just need a little help on my 1988 e30 m3.

My heater control valve needs replacing as its leaking part number
Thought while i'm there let's replace the heater core part number 64118391363 as per FCP Euro mentioned it would fit. This part has the dual water inlet / outlet mine seems to have a single water inlet / outlet.

Anyone else have the single outlet heater core?

    Thank you in advance.

Is your car euro spec? All US cars, I know we and many US based parts houses are biased, use the "twin pipe" heater valve and matching core. In fact, many in the US have no idea there is another type of setup used in other parts of the world. I always wondered why there was even a difference at all? perhaps a different company produced the HVAC system or something? Never saw a definitive answer.

Anyway, is the one you're looking for.
