Who are you debating this with, yourself?
No car ever has enough power.
It had become a historic car, enjoy it as such.
There are many faster street cars. Any five liter Camaro or Mustang will eat it alive. Even a Honda Civic type R.

I do. Just something I’ve always done or had in the works is a project that’s different than the status quo. That’s why I’m kicking around the SC route. Looking into a positive displacement solution as well with integrated charge cooler. Might be a better route.

The 2.7L isn’t going away. It’s a beast of a build but runs and drives like OEM tuned it. Even in the street on slides. The engine, harness, Emtron EMS, Plex dash etc etc will not be let go of. Just trying to see the best way to put it in the garage queen in lieu of SC’ing the orig motor in it.

It was built for track, so pistons are a little loose for street driving, there will be some blow by, but the lowish miles it will be driven on the street shouldn’t hurt it too bad.

By the way, how many “torques” do you have in that car (said with an English accent).

200ish at the wheels from 5500-7500. Need to get back to the Dyno this summer for a check of the power/health to see if it's losing anything yet. She felt amazing on the track a couple weeks ago, pulled on lots of E46M3's and the like

HANDBLT, I don’t have much to add either, but I would love to see a couple of pictures of the 2.7L car and engine. I watched the video, and your car really runs great and pulls hard. I have never experienced anything but my own all stock s14 and have always wondered what a 2.5L or greater s14 would feel like? If parts were easier to acquire and there was someone that I trusted, I would probably go for it.

Everything is out there on the field and can be found easy and put together.

All comes down to single move you need to press the Money-Button which seems to be the main reason why not every S14 is not 2.7. Speaking of those cars which are not with 5 or 10k miles on the clock....were originality is all it matters. As far as how it will feel ? A 2.7 fully build will put a big smile on your face every single mile you put on.

Unwrap it, put a basic interior back in, turn it into a street/restomod/dtm car....throw it on BaT and watch the cash roll in.
