Unwrap it, put a basic interior back in, turn it into a street/restomod/dtm car....throw it on BaT and watch the cash roll in.

Thank you HANDBLT, that is one good looking car! I would not want to sell it, it looks great! Thank you for posting pictures.

Everything is out there on the field and can be found easy and put together.

All comes down to single move you need to press the Money-Button which seems to be the main reason why not every S14 is not 2.7. Speaking of those cars which are not with 5 or 10k miles on the clock....were originality is all it matters. As far as how it will feel ? A 2.7 fully build will put a big smile on your face every single mile you put on.

HANDBLT, I don’t have much to add either, but I would love to see a couple of pictures of the 2.7L car and engine. I watched the video, and your car really runs great and pulls hard. I have never experienced anything but my own all stock s14 and have always wondered what a 2.5L or greater s14 would feel like? If parts were easier to acquire and there was someone that I trusted, I would probably go for it.

200ish at the wheels from 5500-7500. Need to get back to the Dyno this summer for a check of the power/health to see if it's losing anything yet. She felt amazing on the track a couple weeks ago, pulled on lots of E46M3's and the like

I do. Just something I’ve always done or had in the works is a project that’s different than the status quo. That’s why I’m kicking around the SC route. Looking into a positive displacement solution as well with integrated charge cooler. Might be a better route.

The 2.7L isn’t going away. It’s a beast of a build but runs and drives like OEM tuned it. Even in the street on slides. The engine, harness, Emtron EMS, Plex dash etc etc will not be let go of. Just trying to see the best way to put it in the garage queen in lieu of SC’ing the orig motor in it.

It was built for track, so pistons are a little loose for street driving, there will be some blow by, but the lowish miles it will be driven on the street shouldn’t hurt it too bad.

No car ever has enough power.
It had become a historic car, enjoy it as such.
There are many faster street cars. Any five liter Camaro or Mustang will eat it alive. Even a Honda Civic type R.

Yep just me. Not looking for faster, just a newer and more modern replacement.

"mostly street" car it is! I'm sure someone can make a headliner for you.

There's your answer. Do that first. Then figure out the plan for the Michelin later (can collect parts along the way to turn it back to a street car if they come up)

I think if it were me (and that day may come for me to, it almost has a couple times but I got better ) I would just keep what your going to keep or sell what your going to sell.

Swapping setups in between cars sounds like a nightmare of never ending projects.
If your time is done with the track car, just hang a FS sign on it.
The problem you will face is less people want E30M3 track cars, most people want investment cars they can drive twice a year.
So few still want to actually drive them fast, with some pepper in it on a race track and even less have the will / means to pay for them even a fraction of what it took to get them there.

Sounds like Swernoff is your spirit animal,,, basically just what he did.
Maybe put both up for sale as a package. The street car will probably tow up the track car even though thats upside down of investment.
Shouldn't be that hard to swap it all over. It's like I used the Michelin car as a test chassis, to shake down and test everything, now it just goes in its final home lol

I just wonder if the delta between a gutted/caged all orig vin track car, vs cutting the cage out and getting a full interior for it, it worth that amount of work? Not to me I don't think.

Garage space for me is the other issue. I am selling my house and moving closer to the beach where there won't be any garage space to store them both (with trailer) for a while.

The good thing is I love having stupid complicated projects going to keep me sane. I wouldn't know what to do if there wasn't some hairball scheme that didn't involve E30 M3 chassis(s) and S14's in some sort of dumb build
