Has anyone used this on there M3?

Has anybody run The Radiator Air Intake tube from the Japanese version M3 BMW Part# 51 71 1 939 304

It looks like it may improve cooling?

I did check with a dealer in Canada and it is available for only $68.00 CDN.

I can see how it can improve aerodynamics of the car, similar to the plastic panels that go behind the headlamps, but if it has any significant benefit to cooling it would probably be that the airflow is more channeled, thus directing it through the radiator rather than dispersing through the engine compartment.

-it seems cheap enough of a part so it wouldn't be that much of a 'loss' if it doesn't have the desired benefits.

It looks like it was for aircon M3's from '85 to '87. Looks interesting. For about $25 it would be worth checking it out.

And your a/c Aux fan?
You may have to switch to an aftermarket puller unit.

I have used one on a euro 323, as it fit the front core the same. It pulls air from the kidneys and distributes it directly to the radiator. Cool part
