I am looking to buy some new conrods form somewhere??

Anyone any experiences of a good reliable shop that will export to the UK.

Had a very strange response from Turner - sent him an email asking for info - no response so sent another . He then sends me an email saying don't send duplicates 'cos he answeres them in order (fair enough) but instead of sending that why did he not answer my original.

Are these guys good or is VAC better - or any others.

I am sort of surprised you got that response from Turner, usually they are pretty good on the customer service end.

Try VAC, I have always found Tony good to deal with.

And I think Tony (VAC) carries Arrow if you are looking for exchange rate advantages.

I bought my Arrows from VAC. Simply awesome. Absolutely gorgous. Lighter than both Pauter AND Carillo. Less expensive than the Carillo's too.

I have found both to have very good customer service.

VAC however is my local shop (heheh 3 miles! :evil and I can vouch that they try hard to make you happy be it a bottle of oil or a big brake kit.

I'm know Adrian H has arrow rods on his 2.5 grp A motor and kicks out 320bhp. From our conversation at croft this year he said he got them imported from the states as they were cheaper, even though they were manufactured in the UK. Why is our country so f**ked up. It's cheaper to get whiskey abroad, even though it's made here!!!

                              Not in this country.

What sort of costs are we looking at for a set of steel rods from arrow/Pankl?
