  • Rotor arm part #

I have just fitted a new distirbutor cap and would like to change the rotor arm to but am having trouble getting one. I can get genuinie BMW but they cost a packet. Any suggestions?

    TIA

I have just got a distributor cap and rotor of ACDelco make for $50 at rockauto.com.

There should be not much difference on the price of spare parts for bimmers in UK compared to US. In fact, my clutch kit was ordered from Eurocarparts, its 30% cheaper than any carparts dealer in US.

        Fixed Post:
        1 234 332 398 R1 (Rotor)
        1 235 522 422 (Cap)

        Spring Loaded:
        1 234 332 391 R1 (Rotor)
        1 235 522 406 (Cap)

You cannot mix and match fixed post and spring loaded. The fixed post are much more expensive (and in my use a much better part).

I thought the spring loaded was discussed and more superior, or was it the other way around........
