How much does your E30 M3 Weigh?

Mine is 2820 lbs, bone stock, full tank of fuel, spare, jack, and took kit in.

Front/rear distribution is 52.6/47.4 with me in the car, seat all the way back (I'm tall)

The above is based on scales with 20lb accuracy, so numbers may be off a tad.

My fat-bastard of a car weighed (1300kg) 2866lbs at some truck scales. 52/48 weight dist. front/rear. Full tank of gas, spare, jack, toolkit, etc. in the trunk.

I've since removed all of the A/C components forward of the front bulkhead, and replaced the stock seat with a fixed-back OMP race seat, so it should be ~60lbs lighter now. My long-term goal is to get it down to ~2600lbs, without sacrificing carpet and sound-deadening. It's gonna take some work. [done]

question: how come the doorjamb sticker states the weight over 3000? is that with a full load of people?

-harness bar
-front and rear strut bars added
-Harness
-full tank of gas
-5lb dog in car

Removed/Lwt stuff:
-gutted trunk
-CF hood
-LWT seats
-no a/c

I think that is gross vehicle weight, with passengers & cargo.

I'm at 2688 lbs with a full tank of gas and my heavier street wheels/tires. This is with VSR roll bar.

I've since removed the power steering, cruise control, lighter seat, and some other stuff.

Sparco Front Strut Bar

The car weighs 2650 without the bar and around 2700 with.
